Patient, Public and third sector stakeholders

Laura has a wealth of communications experience centred around medical research and healthcare delivery. Throughout her career she has worked in the third sector, most recently as Head of Marketing for the Stroke Association, in research funding and also in the medical publishing industry.

As a Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement Lead at the University of Birmingham, she will champion placing the patient at the heart of PIONEER’s research. By inviting valuable insight from both patients and members of the wider public, she will ensure they have the opportunity to help shape and deliver research relevant to their needs.
